Installing Satellite Equipment
Doing your own installation
Home installations may be done by handymen or do-it-yourselfers who are willing to inform themselves of procedures to be followed.
Large dish antennas (1.6m and larger) are more difficult to install than the small dishes, because the angle of acceptance decreases as the dish size increases!
If you would like a brief guide on doing your own installation, please email us,

Finding installers
We recommend that you have your equipment installed by a reputable local supplier, if possible, to ensure warranty and after-sales support.
Tips:
- Ask people you know to recommend an honest and reliable installer.
- Ensure that he has experience with the type of equipment you require
- Check with previous customers for satisfaction with his work
- Ask him to demonstrate successful reception before purchasing
- Obtain a written quotation outlining work to be done, price and when payments are due.
- Retain a portion of the purchase price until all work is to your satisfaction.
If you are located in a remote area and are unable to obtain the services of an installer, please contact us for advice on options to explore.
