Last week we left Mary right after she was told by an angel that she would conceive unconventially and give birth to King Jesus. Her response was recorded in Luke 1:38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. Next we find her visiting family, and she’s greeted with our focus for today.
As a community, we’ve been praying through the Word of God. Today we are looking at Mary’s song or... prayer - she’s responded with faith to the news that she will carry and raise the King of Kings, Jesus. Elizabeth has pronounced a blessing over her, and now, we find her praising the Almighty for who He is having been mindful of her state.
This is our final installment of the 23rd Psalm. And this, combined with music, scripture, as well as a look back at the many thanks due from our callers- this episode is sure to be a spirit packed program!
