Encouraging students to make a difference in their world, Michelle Doucoumes and her students are partnering with their community to help bring sight to those they have never seen on the other side of the world. In addition, through the Enactus program, students are learning how to “build entrepreneurial businesses that create sustainable solutions" as well as strengthen their faith and mission.

As a child, Dexter Thomas was told he was worthless because he was born blind. But God reached him with a message of love and empowerment and he is a new creature in Christ. Although told he would never complete high school, he went on to earn a doctoral degree! He is passionate about reaching others for Christ, including those who are blind, and created a ministry called Phone Faith, now operated by Christian Record Services.

 
God--The Greatest Neuroscientist

Dr. Jan Cabungcal is a top neuroscientist working at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Raised by his grandparents in the Philippines, at age 11 he joined his parents in Europe, where he later studied neuroscience. Dr. Jan’s work was greatly enriched after attending life-changing meetings in Bern, and today he has a passion for igniting a spirit of revival and mission among the youth of Europe.

Cindy and Rick met on a blind date, and by the end of the evening they were engaged. But theirs was no fairytale marriage. Marred with alcohol and drug abuse, pornography and more, the couple seemed destined for ruin. Then God stepped in and changed their hearts through the ministry of an Adventist co-worker. The Mercers are a living example that nothing is impossible with God.

What happened there changed his life and set him on course of doing business for Jesus--creating a lifestyle center, mission school, and church in Honduras, Hyve International for young professionals, a crowd-sourced international translation endeavor, and more.

 
From Hollywood to Hope

Rico had his dream job. Setting his sights on Hollywood, he quickly became successful in just about everything—writing, directing, as an agent, and more. Theater also held an attraction for this gifted young man. He continued climbing the starry ladder until things came crashing down and a friend told him God would give him his money back. Going on a search for this godly refund, Rico found much more than riches and fame.

 
Finding Peace and Joy

Enkosé grew up attending church, but had no personal conviction. Coming from a Jamaican background, he became Rastafari, but still felt empty, depressed. He continued searching, but found no peace. Then, through a conversation with his barber, Enkosé finally found the peace and joy for which he longed.
