TOMATO SAUCE

Ingredients

 

4 minced garlic cloves

 

1 ½ T olive oil

 

¾ C chopped onions

 

½ C chopped green pepper

 

4 C crushed tomatoes

 

1 t basil

 

1 t sea salt

 

½ t oregano

 

½ C grated carrots

 

Directions:

 

In pot, sauté garlic in olive oil.

 

Add onions and peppers and sauté until soft.

 

Add remaining ingredients.

 

Stir together.

 

Simmer for an hour to blend the flavors.

 

Freezes well.
