BROWN GRAVY

Ingredients

 

1/2 C water

 

1/2 C raw cashews, rinsed

 

1/4-1/3 C cornstarch or arrowroot

 

3-4 T Bragg’s Liquid Aminos

 

1 T onion powder

 

1/2 t sea salt

 

4 C additional water

 

(may add carrot)

 

Directions:

 

Blend smooth all but additional water.

 

When smooth, slowly add rest of water to blender while running.

 

Pour into saucepan or double boiler.

 

Lightly boil, stirring until thickened, approximately 10 min.
