Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

 

12 ounces linguine

 

1 ½ lb beefsteak tomatoes, quartered

 

2 T extra-virgin olive oil

 

1 clove garlic

 

salt

 

¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

 

Directions:

 

Cook pasta according to instructions.

 

Puree tomatoes and seasonings.

 

Toss pasta with the sauce.

 

Then sprinkle with extra fresh basil.
