Revive Granola

From: the revive cafe cookbook 2 by Jeremy Dixon

 

Ingredients

 

1 c jumbo rolled oats

 

1 c quick oats

 

½ c shredded unsweetened coconut (desiccated)

 

3 Tbsp sesame seeds

 

3 Tbsp sliced almonds

 

3 Tbsp cashew pieces

 

3 Tbsp sunflower seeds

 

4 Tbsp honey

 

4 Tbsp oil

 

¼ c raisins

 

½ c other dried fruit e.g. date pieces, cranberries, apricot pieces

 

Directions:

 

Mix together dry ingredients, except fruit, in a baking tray.

 

Combine honey and oil then add to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Load onto a baking tray and place in oven.

 

Bake at 300o F (150o F) for 20-30 minutes or until golden. Stir every 10 minutes to prevent burning.

 

Allow to cool before adding dried fruit. Stored in an airtight container, this will keep for many weeks.
