Honey Crunches

Ingredients

 

1 Tbsp orange rind or 1 tsp vanilla

 

2 cup rolled oats

 

½ cup chopped nuts

 

¼ cup sesame seeds

 

1/3 cup oil

 

¾ tsp salt

 

½ cup wheat germ

 

½ cup coconut

 

2/3 cup honey (heated) or agave

 

 

 

Directions

 

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

 

Press into oiled tin and bake at 350 oF / 180 oC for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Check often to prevent burning.

 

Cut into squares and cool in tin. Alternatively drop spoonfuls onto greased tray and bake as cookies. Makes about 36.
